As the Co-Editor-in-Chief, I was responsible for overseeing the editorial, creative, social, business, and digital teams. I directed Interviewed, managed, and guided a 60-person team and directed practices and policies for working effectively with vendors and content contributors. This included leading meetings and collaborating with cross-functional teams to brainstorm the theme of the yearly print magazine. I approved editorial content and photoshoot themes to ensure alignment with brand image, current trends and the dissemination of relevant information. My duties also included creating and distributing press releases and monthly newsletters and finalizing the production of the yearly print magazine. Lastly, I organized promotional events such as launches, cover reveal parties, and brand collaboration parties.

In my time as the social media coordinator for Square Magazine, I managed the brand's Instagram account. I brainstormed, developed, and executed daily content creation. This included scheduling daily posts and stories, engaging with followers, executing campaigns, and analyzing metrics to capture trends and determine audience growth rate, volume and reach. My duties included accurately conveying and maintaining brand image and identity, collaborating with local businesses and press to boost and enhance engagement on social media, and organizing a giveaway to increase engagement and follower base. I gained experience working with cross-functional teams through collaborating with graphic designers on the digital team to create visual assets such as logos, flyers, and banners as well as collaborating with the editorial team to post recently published articles in a timely manner and direct followers to the website.

My role as a Retail Sales Associate at Hemline, I collected and reported on customer demographics, preferences and buying habits as a liaison with the brand's marketing team. My liaison role also included sending daily reports to the marketing team that contained information such as popular items to restock, items that customers requested, and upcoming local events to drive sales. I assisted with inventory management and product merchandising in both online and physical retail environments. This included executing e-commerce efforts on Shopify by updating product listings, writing product descriptions, and optimizing online content for SEO. My in-store roles included re-merchandising every two weeks and researching competitor merchandising tactics. During re-merchandising, I arranged new merchandise with signage and appealing displays to encourage customer sales and move overstock items. Lastly, I coordinated with the brand's vendors such as Farm Rio, For Love & Lemons, and Steve Madden to ensure timely delivery of merchandise and promotional materials.

Completed sales transactions and processed merchandise return, and maintaining proper accountability of the register. Recommended optimal merchandise based on customer needs and desires. Actively participated in photo shoots by dressing fashion models and locating needed accessories.
