Molly’s interior design career started in Michigan (Petoskey & Harbor Springs) and after living & working in Northern Michigan, Ann Arbor & Chicago, Molly moved to New York City and worked in the interior design industry there for a decade before returning to Michigan.As a Design Consultant for Ethan Allen Furniture, Molly enjoyed engaging with and designing beautiful spaces for clients from all over NYC and the world, with a tremendous range of style, backgrounds, personalities & apartments/homes. At Ethan Allen, Molly worked on design projects for homes throughout the NYC area, Midwest, and the entire United States. (2003-2010)In NYC, Molly also worked for Merchandise Mart Properties Inc. MMPI owns and operates Interior Design buildings (including the world-famous Merchandise Mart) and produces Design shows throughout North America. Molly worked full-time on the “Architectural Digest Home Design Show,” an industry-leading 4-day Interior Design Show in NYC that catered to the interior design trade & general public. Clients/exhibitors ranged from boutique furniture makers in NY & across the US to luxury furniture brands with locations all over the world. Molly was surrounded by the industry’s leading makers & interior designers & the leaders in the furniture & interior design industry. (2010-2013)Molly has traveled to & visited numerous leading Interior design industry/trade shows throughout the United States (NY, Chicago, Las Vegas, North Carolina) & internationally (such as the London Design Festival) where she gathers inspiration & the latest trends & offerings in design & connects with designers & furniture companies all over the world. Molly loves to travel and has visited dozens of countries throughout North & Central America, the Caribbean, Europe, & Asia, gathering endless design inspiration and trends.Molly has a meticulous eye for details and a love of all things beautiful & design related. It is the client, however, who inspires and guides the finished design of their own space. Molly enjoys connecting with her clients and managing design projects from start to finish. Molly obtained her undergraduate degree from The University of Michigan School of Art & Design in Ann Arbor, MI (2002) & also completed a study abroad program in Florence, Italy. (1999) and has been working in the interior design industry since 2001.
