The administrator is the lead position in the daily management, programming and operations of the Center. Primary duties include coordination of education, art/design, marketing and communications, volunteer relations, and building and grounds, as well as performing administrative tasks and the duties of gift shop manager and registrar/curator

*Greeted and guided many visitors through Iowa's first capitol and supervised events such as receptions and Piano Sundays*Cooperated with students and employees to plan and host a Halloween party for over 600 children each year*Supervised weekend museum operations, locking and unlocking building, and up to 3 employees at one time*Responsible for handling over $100 cash and reconciling cash drawer daily, using credit card processor, and keeping shop neat*Experience communicating with the public and elementary school children

Blank Honors Center Galleries*Coordinated shows in 3 gallery spaces, including scheduling, set up, and take down*Designed advertisements for gallery events and assisted in the development of eight display cases for sculptural pieces*Planned and organized relevant gallery programs for students including contests and interactive displays*Developed programs on a team of other programmers and assisted with other employees' events in the Honors Program

*Designed and painted 4 fence panels, porch, and interior doors and walls by request of building owner*Completed confidential monthly billing statements for clients online*Updated incoming and outgoing patient forms*Assisted in preparation for audit by organizing patient files and necessary forms
