As a Relations Officer, I manage and expand relationships with Nelnet’s strategic client partners to increase Nelnet’s servicing and fee income, develop executive level strategies, and maximize revenue. I also represent client issues by serving as their advocate to Nelnet, identify solutions to meet client needs, while at the same time, creating opportunities for Nelnet. I participate on various project teams including procedure writing, conference planning, department goals and metrics, quality control processes, automation of external contract negotiations, and operational intake process. In a nutshell, I manage the high-level and day-to-day business needs for our external clients. In this position, I serve as the current Chair Lead for the Lincoln Office Wellness & Safety Committee. In the past, I served as a volunteer with the Junior Achievement Program in the Lincoln area high schools.

As a Team Lead, I was responsible for assisting the Management team with employee-related issues, monitoring of the workflow, and overall department morale; Responsible for the timely funding of disbursement accounts. I was expected to learn, understand, and apply regulatory requirements affecting specific departmental functions. While in this role, I helped reach and break company and departmental volume records. I played a major role in the successful implementation of various projects such as Sarbanes-Oxley, DTC Private Loan Consolidations, DLFL Core Process Charter, and Salesforce Utilization. While in this position, I received a Certificate for Quality and a certificate recognizing my Commitment to Excellence for outstanding work.

While at Hy-Vee, I was responsible for the setting, pricing, and ordering of new items in the store and maintained WIC program. I also supervised and participated in interviewing, scheduling, hiring, and terminating employees. I completed a "Career Day" workshop for Hy-Vee, and took first place in Hy-Vee's regional "best bagger" contest, and was selected Employee of the Month twice.
