With the End in Mind, LLC uproots White supremacy beliefs and characteristics and plants seeds of change within groups, organizations, and systems. Our work is driven and guided by those we serve and their desire to be co-laborers in abolishing oppressive systems in order to liberate us all. • Responsible for leading redesign of Peer Assistant Program. Actively collaborate with identified stakeholders across the college to assess current Peer Assistant program and potential for future development and redesign.• Conduct research on potential models for Peer Assistant program and connect with practitioners across the country for research and consultation.• In collaboration with stakeholders, design new model for Peer Assistant program including determining how the program can best support and be integrated with service areas at the institution and designing a model for coordination and support of Peer Assistants by site leads.• Design model for recruiting Peer Assistants including how staff across the institution are involved in recruitment.• Create train-the-trainer materials for staff and site leads supporting Peer Assistants and structure for site lead support. Develop academic year calendar for recruitment and training.• Develop training model and materials for Peer Assistants. Identify the need for, and arrange, training sessions for Peer Assistants including certification program.• Explore overlap between Peer Assistant program and other student leadership programs at the college and potential for shared trainings and opportunities for interaction.• Generate correspondence, reports, forms, tables, and presentations.• Accurately disseminate detailed information in small and large groups through excellent written and verbal communications. • Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with staff and faculty and participate in committees, professional and college trainings, staff meetings, and related professional activities as appropriate and/or requested.

Develop and implement training and consulting plans for Wraparound and Systems of Care projects focused on services and supports for children, youth, adults and families. Work with program staff, community partners, sponsor staff, and internal/external groups affiliated with Wraparound and Systems of Care project(s). Attend project related meetings to ensure smooth operations and clear communication with sponsoring agents.

Graduate Research Assistant of Project FUTURES (2015-2016), an RCT pilot examining the impact of self-determination enhancement for college students with mental health stressors and experience in foster care.Graduate Research Assistant of My Life Project (2013-2015), an RCT involving foster youth with disabilities examining the impact of youth self-determination on transition outcomes.

Provide mental health service coordination for eligible children and families, provide complex case or exceptional needs care coordination that is informed by Wrap-Around principles, procure needed treatment, coordinate service delivery with community providers, review and disposition authorization requests, perform utilization management activities, coordinate with system of care/community partners, and perform other related duties as assigned.

Worked with young people ages 11-18 and their families in a psychiatric day treatment setting providing family therapy, planned and facilitated therapeutic groups, and communicated with team members, community resources, families and schools to ensure a continuum of care.

Implemented Dads Make a Difference and The R Factor curricula in schools, community agencies and alternative school programs through consultation with staff and teen teachers to increase the program's effectiveness in reaching urban youth. Trained high school teens, male and female, to be teen teachers educating middle school youth about the importance of fathers, about the responsibilities of parenting and about making responsible choices about risky behavior. Taught Dads Make a Difference and The R Factor curricula to incarcerated youth in juvenile corrections sites. Also networked with organizations working in the areas of positive youth development, youth service, adolescent pregnancy prevention, fathering, and support of children to increase Dads Make a Difference visibility and collaboration.
