I work with faculty and staff to write fun, science-based scripts for educational videos. Additionally, I star in and develop a shooting schedule with various topics as well as edit the videos. This position involves performing hands-on demonstrations related to textiles and STEAM topics.

Research regarding Enzymatic Textile Degradation. In-depth use of various assay methods to assess the effectiveness of enzymes in the breakdown of cotton-based textiles. Potential ramifications of this research include recycling high-value fibers from fiber blends as well as bio-recycling of textile waste.

Fellows are each assigned a cluster of 20-22 students in a specific Honors Seminar. Over the course of the year, I met individually with students and helped the group transition into college. I also aided their instructor in organizing events for the class as well as facilitating group discussion. Over the year I worked with Professor Anne Auten in her "Writing the Self" course.In addition to the in-classroom role I was also assigned to the Community and Collaborations committee within the Village, where I supported and headed various initiatives and programming that was both educational and community-driven.

In this position, I analyzed and stored documents from various parts of the NC State campus in an archivally-sound way. It was my duty to brief the day's researchers on proper archival etiquette as well as how to request materials. While working, I processed thousands of pages of records from African American Affairs, the Department of English, and the Office of Alumni Relations.
