Supervise 11 engineers and contractors in the LLDPE, HDPE, Catalyst and Utilities units at an ExxonMobil polyethylene manufacturing facility.

Lead engineer over multiple polyethylene catalyst production lines. Worked with operations technicians to troubleshoot daily issues and worked with technology, business, and supply chain departments to trial new grade development, set production schedules to meet demand, adjust manufacturing techniques in the face of changing global regulations, etc..

Built business team from scratch following acquisition of polyethylene catalyst manufacturing facility. Executed change-in-control while maintaining uninterrupted supply to customers. Balanced immediate incorporation of safety, reliability, and quality expectations with developing longterm supply/demand projections and planning longterm expansion projects.

Built economic models for global multi-billion dollar chemical plant prospects, capturing complexities of local and global tax opportunities, supply chain efficiencies, manufacturing operating costs, etc.

Designed components of single- and multi-train Gas Phase Polyethylene plants for third parties worldwide. Design experience in polyethylene raw materials & purification, reactors and catalyst injection, seed bed storage, additive finishing & extrusion. Seconded as an ExxonMobil employee to Univation Technologies, LLC, formerly a Joint Venture between.

Directly responsible for advising 16 freshmen and peripherally responsible for advising 100 freshmen in Trumbull College. Trained to help them transition to college in both academic and social settings.

Travel to college and career centers at high schools in the Washington, D.C. area to host Yale information sessions during winter and spring breaks. Discuss the academic and social opportunities available at Yale, as well as the financial aid packages offered.

Mobile, Alabama Area

Evaluated the efficiency of an effluent column by calculating material and energy balances on the system. Recommissioned a deionized water resin bed (proposed a $25,000+ change in physical design of the system and proposed and implemented a change in the computer code controlling the day-to-day operation of the system).
