In charge of projection design and execution for Carpetbag Theatre's 𝘙𝘦𝘥 𝘚𝘶𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘳 and PSCC's 𝘉𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘙𝘰𝘰𝘵• As both productions deal with treatments of Black Americans, both historical and recent, relayed through the depictions of two real life events-- I was tasked with collecting, organizing, and meaningfully interpreting relevant archival footage, newspaper clippings, and photographs in order to create supplementary media that aligned with the director's vision. This production of 𝘙𝘦𝘥 𝘚𝘶𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘳 commemorated the Carpetbag Theatre's 50th anniversary-- the accompaniment of projections in this production was a first for the theatre.• This media was created using Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, and Aftereffects.

Olio Nature Play is a seasonal and afterschool camp that encourages kid-led play. My role was to provide guidance, supplies, choices and supplementary fun to the ever-evolving activities of the day. I introduced imaginative storytelling-based activities that encouraged the kids to go on quest-like hikes, create themed props, communicate effectively amongst themselves, foster diplomatic relations with a mysterious group of forest dwellers, and expand the lore of the story. This specific play scenario was continued after the children returned home and has been requested at the camp in subsequent years since I have left this position.
