As a full stack developer within the Firmwide Data Office, my work focuses on the development and deployment of tooling to allow clients across a range of business areas to automate their data processes.This work is continued from my 2 years spent placed in this role as a Consultant with Kubrick Group.

2 years placed at Morgan Stanley within the Firmwide Data Office, working in a innovative team to bring automated data solutions across multiple business areas. My role as a full stack developer on this team required UI development, building of back end services, automation of process to upload data for client dashboards, and solution design.In my role, my responsibilities covered the following:- The development of multiple UIs in React (typescript and javascript). The most notable of which was designed to introduce users to a project and allow them to test out developed tools.- Design and implementation of a data quality service using Docker, Fast API, and Great Expectations, which I the successfully presented to multiple senior stakeholders and to the wider department.- Design and development of an automated data retrieval and upload process to show task status. This included setting up an Autosys job to run a Python script I developed to fetch data and update a dashboard. I also worked with setting up the Postgres database and SQL querying and calculations to create an appropriate view based on the data.Across these projects and more, I have worked with React, MongoDB, Postgres, Docker, Jenkins, FastAPI, ASM for Java introspection, package management in Artifactory.. I have also confidently developed in Python, Java, Typescript, Javascript with additional work in C# and Scala.Prior to my placement, I also completed 3 months of training in data management skills, focusing on the importance of data quality and governance. I additionally spent some time in a Business Analyst role in which I worked with the design of using BigID for automating scanning for detection of PII.
