As part of a services marketing project myself and two others decided to go out to a second level school (Sligo Grammar School) in Sligo and give a 5 week programme on marketing a product/service to first year students. The programme involved marketing basics, market research, selling, presentation and communication skills. Our advice and guidance to the students helped them to reach the final of the Junior Dragons Den aswell as the enterprise national finals. We are hoping to try and develop packages for not only second level schools but for small businesses and other organisations.4See below, where you will find a final presentation of what happened during this Mentoring Stage.
