Description and responsibilities:• As chief nurse in robotic surgery, I was in charge of all managerial aspects about our robotic center such as material procurement for procedures, intermediary between clinical specialists, surgeons, and anesthetists, design of clinical protocols in robotic surgery, etc. • Anesthetist and circulating nurse in all kinds of surgeries, especially in colorectal, urology, thoracic, gynecology and otolaryngology robotic surgery with Intuitive’s DaVinci Xi and Si systems; scrub nurse in all kinds of robotic surgery. • As a Trainer I’ve developed a specific education program for surgeons, nurses, anesthetists, and support figures in robotic surgery.Key achievements:• In two years (2020 | 2022) I’ve supported as senior scrub nurse more than 800 robotic procedures with DaVinci Xi system.• In two years (2020 | 2022) I’ve started the robotic OR team of San Paolo and San Carlo clinic from scratch and I’ve designed specific educational training programs for nurses, anesthetists, and surgeons. When my job here was finished, I fully trained more than 60 HCPs in robotic surgery. • I’ve developed the right terminology, knowledge, and experience in common and specific surgical procedures, with a great focus on minimally invasive and robotic surgery. • As trainer in robotic surgery, I’ve developed a strong didactic personality and a great capability in coaching and mentoring people. • Great capability to work in cooperation with the anesthesia OR team.

Description and responsibilities:• Anesthetist and circulating nurse in all kinds of surgery, especially in colorectal, urology, otolaryngology, thoracic, gynecology, senology robotic surgery with DaVinci Xi/Si systems.Key achievements:• In three years (2017 | 2020) I’ve supported as anesthetist nurse in robotic surgery more than 1500 robotic procedures with DaVinci Xi and DaVinci Si system.• At IEO I was lucky enough to discover and understand my real passion: robotics and robotic surgery. • I’ve developed a great knowledge and capabilities as anesthetist nurse: rapid interpretation of ECG and ABG, development of critical thinking on the unstable patient, ability to take rapid clinical decisions in clinical instability contexts, ability to use sophisticated equipment such as ventilators for respiratory assistance, monitoring of vital parameters through multi-parameter monitors, management of difficult intubations with endoscopically assisted intubation methods (e.g. glidescope), ultrasound-guided positioning of difficult venous accesses, support of cardiocirculatory activity through ECMO system, support of renal activity through hemodialysis devices, etc.• Highly trained to face any kind of clinical emergencies during surgical procedures.

Of particular importance during this period of my career was having learned the advanced techniques of reading and interpretation of the ECG and ABG, the pharmacological management of the critical patient, the management of the hemodynamically unstable patient and the patient undergoing ECMO therapy
