Mona Davoodi, founder and CEO of novagostar companywe work on two operational lines1: ‏We are currently the sole representative of Behban Shimi which is a holding comprised of 13 companies and one of them is behban Pharma Lotus which produces hospital disinfectants. We present these products to the market directly from the factory in north and northeastern parts of the country. The disinfectants are divided into different categories. The general disinfectants based on alcohol which are used to sanitize hands and surfaces. The other type is high level disinfectants which are used to disinfect hospital equipment including OR equipment. We also have a solution for the surface of hospital rooms including the OR as well.‏This is a summary of what we do and our goal is expand our business and promote other brands in different parts of the country.2.‏holding educational seminars on infection control in health care facilities which are faced with issues and challenges in different units. Our team is placed in facilities where they have a high number of casualties in ER or intensive care units or are struggling with anti-bacterial resistance and so on. Our team holds a meeting with the stakeholders of the hospital such as the chief if medicine, the head of nursing staff , the head of infection control and as such to discuss their needs and we present them with educational packages. They either pay for these packages or we become the sponsor and the institutions purchase their products from us.‏The head of our team is Dr. Amir Salary the professor of ER and Intensive care unit courses at Tehran University of Medicine. The instructions are given in two ways, one is through holding seminars and the other is through intra-unit educational rounds. in This way after a period of observation based on the presented problems, our team tries to find the problem and perform different tasks practically for hospital workers to see and learn.
