Project manager for "Familienettverket: på tvers av kulturer", a national project aimed at immigrant parents with LGBTQI+ children and immigrant parents in general.LGBTQI+ individuals from minority backgrounds are a group particularly vulnerable to mental health issues. Causes are often linked to growing up in a society/culture characterized by shame and stigma surrounding sexuality and gender identity.At the same time, immigrant parents with LGBTQI+ children can themselves experience pressure, shame, and fear, and face stigma and exclusion from their own communities.The purpose of the project is to convey knowledge about gender and sexual diversity and why it is important that parents support their children on this journey, as well as to offer support and guidance to parents. The project also involves efforts to reach out to various religious leaders and religiously affiliated organizations. I am currently working as advisor in the Bergen Chapter of Skeiv Verden. My main tasks comprise of individual counselling and follow-up, as well as promoting the health, wellbeing, and rights of the LGBTI+-community in Bergen and Vestland County in meetings with public and municipal services. This includes:- individual follow-up and guidance of members- psychosocial work-representing Skeiv Verden Vest in meetings with collaboration partners or panels- administrative tasks

Temporary position as General Manager in the Vestland county chapter of FRI - The Association for Gender and Sexual Diversity.FRI is a nationwide organization that works politically and socially to ensure that people who deviate from norms of gender and sexuality can live openly without fear of social exclusion, discrimination, or harassment.My tasks included: - Preparing and holding workshops about gender and sexual diversity- Organizing board meetings- Following up volunteers, one intern, as well as activity groups- Representing FRI Vestland in meetings with local politicians and other actors- Providing inputs to the Action Plan on Gender and Sexual Diversity by Bergen Municipality- Administrative tasks- Collaborating with POGI (the Norwegian Patient Organization for Gender Incongruence) in organizing Transgender Awareness Week in Bergen

Initiated, planned & produced an international art project in collaboration with Nordic Black Theatre & Octopizzo Foundation. The project combined different art mediums to celebrate the talents of former and current refugee artists from different parts of the world. This included an art exhibition and a scenography installation, two events with documentary film screenings, panel debates, and music performance, and art workshops as well as organised group tours in collaboration with Kulturintro (JM Norway) and Forandringshuset Holmlia. Funded by Fritt Ord and Oslo Kommune.

Three months internship in an integration office as part of my master thesis fieldwork.Tasks included: supporting the social workers in preparing housing and other logistics for the arrival of 13 refugees, setting up resolutions concerning financial matters for clients, competency evaluation of clients, participation in career counselling meetings, supporting clients in communication with UDI.

Production Assistant for the Show "Bitch Where the Fuck is My Manifesto" created, produced, directed, and enacted by Duduzile Mathonsi. I assisted the production of the show in Trondheim, Norway, and Hamburg, Germany, as part of the Norwind Festival.

Project implementation of a peer-support network which provides social support and other services to improve students’ social capital. I set up the implementation plan for UiO, identified possible collaboration partners, organised meetings and online recruitment for peer supporters in teamwork

I produced a two-parts exhibition project named "Refugee|ni|us" as part of the Oslo Afro Arts Festival, in collaboration with Oslo-based curator and painter Khalid Shatta, the Octopizzo Foundation, and Kunsthall Oslo. The aim of the project was to platform refugee and former refugee artists through exhibitions at two different sites, showcasing a selection of audio-visual installations, large canvas paintings, sketches, and photographs.

As lab manager, I was responsible for the coordination of lab meetings and administrative tasks. Main focus of the internship was the design and conduction of several research projects. This included designing project websites, setting up sampling methods and study designs, creating online surveys, creating a data collection plan and recruiting study participants.

The internship took place at a recruitment agency specialized in the field of Information Technology. Daily tasks included creating requirement profiles and job advertisements for clients, identifying suitable candidate for vacant job positions and carrying out personal interviews with potential candidates. Further tasks consisted of the support of candidates throughout the selection process, training new interns and taking care of the internal CRM database.

The internship consisted of individual and group counselling of children and adolescents at a government high school. Further tasks included planning workshops and attending staff meetings as well as completing and submitting client reports of closed cases.
