- A Strong record in supporting victims/survivors of abuse and a working knowledge of Harmful Practices including Forced Marriage, HBV, Dowry Conflict, Disownment, FGM and Abuse based on Faith/Belief- Ability to communicate with individuals from a diverse background/ range of experiences- Use of specific systems including MODUS/ CRM based programmes- Bilingual and fluent in Urdu, Punjabi, Pahri and Potwari - Managing a significant caseload between Medium/ High risk clients either fleeing/ suffering or recovering from Harmful Practices and Domestic Abuse- Completing CAADA-DASH risk-based assessments and completing individualised safety plans for eachclient.- Making referrals to and attending MARAC and Child Protection conferences- Advocating on behalf of individuals with external agencies where appropriate- Offering support and advice to victims / survivors of abuse over the phone, by email and face to face - Multi-agency working with GPs, Health Visitors, Schools, Solicitors, Counselling Services, Housing, thePolice, Probation, Social Services and various NGO’s/Refuge Providers-Attending Court and advocating on client’s behalf and advising clients on all aspects of the family/criminal justice system-Assisting clients with witness statements, advising on legal rights and signposting to appropriate services-Supporting clients affected by abuse as part of EDAC.to include assessing employability needs-Maintain accurate and confidential case management records using the MODUS system, contribute tomonitoring information for the service and complete weekly status reports.-Do all that is required in furtherance of the charity’s objectives
