Hello! Welcome to my LinkedIn profile! My name is Mona Josef, and I am a skilled pharmacy technician who has recently transitioned into the field of cybersecurity. I bring with me a wealth of experience in problem-solving, attention to detail, critical thinking, and working under pressure. I have a strong passion for helping others and love learning new things.During my cybersecurity bootcamp, I gained hands-on experience with several cybersecurity tools which include Linux, Wireshark, Security Onion, Snort, Sguill, Kibana, Docker, Ansible, Burp Suite, Kali Linux, Metasploit, and Splunk. I had the opportunity to work on several projects that allowed me to apply my skills and knowledge in a practical setting. These projects include archiving and logging data, bash scripting, Powershell scripting, Windows administration and hardening, cryptography, cloud security, conducting on a vulnerable web application and recommending mitigation strategies, analyzing network traffic using Wireshark, and creating a personal Azure lab.I recently earned my (ISC)2 CC certification. This exam covers security principles, business continuity, disaster recovery, incident response, access controls, network security and security operations. I am also planning to create a self-hosted lab on a ZimaBoard to further develop my skills and knowledge.Overall, I am continuously seeking out new opportunities to improve my cybersecurity skills and knowledge. I am excited to use my hands-on experience to contribute to the success of a cybersecurity team and help protect against cyber threats.
