•Reports to Head of Finance & Business Support, South East Asia & Korea (SEAK) Responsible for providing financial leadership over hotels in Singapore, Malaysia, IndoChina and Philippines reviewing, challenging and providing monthly and forecast performance updates for the region. •A Finance & Business Support partner to the Vice President Operations for SEAK monitoring KPIs performance for the sub region, review and identify opportunities, providing guidance and valuable insights for optimal business decisions.•Drive “Best in Class” performance in terms of flow through, cost recovery through the hotels and ensure returns are maximised. •Works closely with the respective Regional / Area General Managers, hotels’ General Managers & Directors of Finance & Business Support to review hotels’ long terms plans and forecasts to ensure they are robust and attainable. Provide financial support in developing recommendations for actions, improvements to drive business development initiatives.•Maintains strong controls & governance across hotels; Conduct Internal Audit Assessment for hotels to ensure compliance to policies and procedures, local law, uniform system of accounts, completion of balance sheet reconciliation on a timely basis with proper follow up, and compliance to the Hotel Management Agreement. •Provides the Regional Heads of Finance with specific support and services for pre-opening hotels (or hotel conversion/rebranding), to facilitate smooth hotel openings and transit them into operations.•Talent and People Development – Regular Review and identify hotels’ finance talent during hotels’ visit to ensure the team’s Personal Development Plans are in place to support succession planning through developing and strengthening the capabilities within the region & country. People development also includes identifying ready candidates and placing them as preopening task force by countries to assist and support future openings.
