* Provide Outpatient and Inpatient Counselling Services in the field of Breastfeeding and Lactation Services.* Develop plans to support mothers` needs.* Follow up with mothers as required.* Evaluate breastfeeding and lactation service provision at the hospital to determine its effectiveness and recommend service changes to management to improve services. * Prepare training curriculum for training purposes.* Conducts competency-based staff trainings on breastfeeding and lactation appropriate to the departments practice.* Communicates with Pediatricians and OB/GYN providers to improve lactation support for clients who elect to breastfeed.* Preparing educational materials to mothers.* Reviews, updates, and evaluates suitable educational materials to facilitate understanding. * Adjusts teaching to meet patient and family needs including language and literacy level.* Participates in prenatal education events to promote breastfeeding support.* Support the hospital strategy to become baby-friendly hospital.* Documents patient education and progress in accordance with practice standards within the EMR. * Set KPIs for the Breastfeeding and Lactation program, data collection and monitoring of KPIs.
