A networking and resource organization open to those in the apparel design community in the south, as well as those connected to it. The mission is to create fashion shows that are highly designer focused, as well as market and educational opportunities throughout the year.------SCFD hosted its first inaugural Southern Design Week Nov. 3-9 in 2014, featuring a week of presentations, runway and special events between locations handpicked to highlight the history and charm New Orleans is aptly known for. As show coordinator, I worked closely with designers to schedule and set locations for fittings, hair and make up tests. During the week I am responsible for all aspects of backstage and pre-show prep as well as keeping all teams, designers and models on schedule.As the Operations Director, I am responsible for space booking and overall operations of SCFD: creating production outlines and run-of-shows, organizing resources and communicating them to all staff, maintaining and updating schedules and updating staff weekly on ongoing project statuses. With over 4 years of experience in the production of New Orleans Fashion Week, I know the ins and outs of our team and organization, and am available to assist in any needed position.

I presented multiple concepts in the initial design phase for Lauren Lagarde PR's branding. I also assisted our lead designer and CEO of the company as they produced print materials for clients such as Loomed Textiles, designed packaging for the eyewear brand Krewe Du Optic, and designed the branding and interior of CBD retail space, Hattie Sparks. For Loomed Textiles, I witnessed pre-press communication and visited during press checks to learn the ins and outs of printing production. Additionally, I researched and put together pricing sheets for custom packaging for Hattie Sparks.
