My entrepreneurial journey began at the age of 13, when I discovered my knack for teaching and earned a tidy sum of $4 per month tutoring my cousins. Growing up in a large joint family in India, with a father and uncles who were doctors, I initially aspired to follow in their footsteps. However, by the time I turned 17, I realized that the medical field wasn't my calling, and instead pursued studies in commerce and accounting, driven by a budding entrepreneurial spirit.Over the years, I had many business ideas—from launching an ecommerce store to establishing a development center in Malaysia—but hesitated to take the leap because of my stable well-paying jobs. After spending more than 20 years in the industry, working with Oracle, Microsoft, and other big companies, I gained experience in various roles throughout the sales process – from lead generation to pre-sales, deal closure, and post-sales support, in both product and service industries. My invaluable asset is my extensive experience working in India, the UK, the US and Europe. Throughout my journey, I noticed that many businesses struggled due to insufficient lead generation efforts and gaps in their sales processes.So, in November 2023, I founded SalesHarbor, not only to provide businesses with top-tier leads but also to offer expert sales consulting services. After eight months of running SalesHarbor, I identified a significant gap in the market for a powerful LinkedIn outreach tool tailored for sales professionals.
