As a passionate, commercially astute ACCA-qualified finance leader, I’ve developed a versatile skillset, with expertise in management reporting, team building, change management, pricing, business partnering and analytical decision support. I began my career in chartered accountancy, advancing during ACCA qualification to lead seamless audit processes for major construction clients. Moving into commerce and industry, I progressed through commercial finance roles, joining leading UK recruitment firm Adecco Group in 2011, where I was promoted twice to provide robust financial management of two high-profile subsidiaries. Since 2018, I’ve headed finance at a social care provider, a wholly owned subsidiary of Enfield Council. Partnering with the MD to lead productive change, I brought strategic commercial finance expertise in-house, developing a best practice finance function from the ground up.It’s been a privilege to meet the challenges of social care provision, bringing a talented team together and collaborating with our service managers to provide crucial support to vulnerable adults.Career highlights include leading a business-critical renegotiation of our funding, which has driven a 23% increase in company revenue, enabling major gains in the quality of our service provision. At Adecco Group, I was proud to play an instrumental role in some major managed services tender wins, helping to close long-term contracts with top-tier clients.Core strengths include the ability to adapt quickly, resolve problems and provide analytical decision support, collaborating with cross-functional budget holders to deliver objectives and achieve profit growth with sustainable stability.As an experienced team leader and coach, I’m also well-versed in attracting and training emerging leaders – I have a passion for helping people to boost their skills and exceed their own expectations.
