Unraveling Degradation Mechanisms in Non- Fullerene Acceptor Based Organic Solar Cells Through Advanced Spectroscopy and Device Measurements:• Led a project funded by Office of Naval Research (ONR) to study the lifetime of organic solar cells collaborating with 3 research institutions across the US and England, identified the degradation mechanism and modified design to improve stability. • Partnered with our senior researcher to build a spectroscopy set-up for characterizing solar cells, saving months and ~ $10k.• Enhanced data collection and plotting efficiency by writing Python codes, resulting in accelerated project progress, and on-time delivery from 4 weeks to 5 days. • Volunteered to mentor an exchange undergraduate student for summer research, trained 6 undergraduate and graduate students on new systems and processes.

Nanostructured Materials and Composites LabComparing the structure and optoelectrical properties of dense and porous tin oxide thin films synthesized by chemical methods, as electron transport layer for Perovskite solar cells.• Collaborated with graduate students to develop and launch a solar cell device fabrication line for the university in transitioning to clean energy utilization.• Devised and executed experiments and analyzed characterization data to provide strategic insight into the project.
