I am an advocate and nonprofit leader dedicated to supporting and building high-performance, mission-driven organizations at the forefront of scientific discovery and progress. I bring nearly 30 years of experience in science and health policy, advocacy and management roles, including more than 10 years in nonprofit executive positions. I combine vision and strategy with clear goal-setting and effective implementation, and lead in partnership with valued volunteers and staff teams. Extensive experience in board strategic planning, governance, and oversight; financial management and planning; public policy and advocacy; diversity, equity, and inclusion in science; communications and marketing; fundraising and federal/private grant acquisition and management; guiding large, skilled staff teams; major project management; and digital, data, and technology innovation.
