In this role I oversee the company’s portfolio of 100+ rental and purchased employee housing properties across 12 resort locations. As the company identifies new resort locations (2-3 year per year) I evaluate the rental markets in those locations to secure employee housing prior to the operating season. I coordinate with development teams to identify opportunities for new construction, provide cost-analysis data and liaise with Project Managers once development projects are underway. As the first person to serve in this role, I analyze employee and management survey data, budgets and housing quality to set company standards and best practices. I create and deliver the standard operating procedures and training opportunities for on-site teams to utilize in order to successfully manage the day-to-day operations of company-provided housing.

As the Assistant General Manager I oversaw the daily operations and logistics of a 63-tent high-end glamping resort. I selected and trained seasonal supervisors and employees from Housekeeping, Laundry, Food & Beverage and Front Desk and ensured staff understood responsibilities and were effective in delivering a high-value experience. I successfully identified consistent, streamlined processes and procedures to maximize resources, hold others accountable, eliminate non-value tasks, and prioritize time to focus on guest and team member experiences.

In this role I managed the logistics, planning and implementation of various events for 7X World Champion and Adventure Athlete Rebecca Rusch including:~Rebecca’s Private Idaho – a gravel bike race and festival with 1,200+ participants staged in Sun Valley, ID~Rebecca’s Giddy Up Challenge – a virtual climbing challenge for 900 participants worldwide~Screenings of Rebecca’s Emmy award winning film, Blood Road~Rusch Academy – a holistic 4-day gravel biking retreat and clinicThis role required successful coordination with sponsors, third party vendors and community representatives as well as creativity in marketing tools for event promotion, social media, newsletters and website.

As the Site Director for the N.U.in England (June 2016-April 2017) and N.U.in Australia (June 2017-November 2017) Programs, I managed the overall planning and onsite execution of a unique semester study abroad program for first-year undergraduate students at Northeastern University. I supervised a team of professional and student staff members in implementing local and regional program excursions, community-building activities, residence life programming and cultural engagements. I communicated regularly across a wide variety of stakeholders including students, faculty, N.U.in Boston headquarters, parents and local partners while ensuring the successful delivery of social, academic and service-learning opportunities on site. In addition, I taught a one-credit college-level course entitled “The Global Experience” to engage students in discussions on cross-cultural communication, global citizenship, cultural diversity and critical thinking.

In this role I supervised and managed a team of Senior Program Managers in implementing complex multi-day event logistics for high-impact academic conferences in Astana, Dubai, Durham, Istanbul, London, New Delhi, Prague, Santiago and Shanghai. My team successfully managed events and programs ranging from 25-1,000+ participants ensuring they were executed successfully, delivery was seamless and overall goals of the program were supported. In coordination with a variety of local vendors, hotels, third party providers and external clients, I oversaw the implementation of innovative and culturally focused events that provided engaging content and connected students with the program location and business landscape.

Program lead and primary contact for a global MBA program designed for 155 working professionals from around the world. I managed program execution from orientation to graduation through the delivery of academic conferences in Shanghai, Dubai, New Delhi, St. Petersburg and Durham

Worked as a member of a team to support and implement the Duke MBA—Cross Continent program.

In this role, I managed communications with students and parents on all aspects of assigned semester and summer study abroad programs and managed all application materials in StudioAbroad. I regularly corresponded with GEO directors, Duke and overseas faculty, and multiple Duke offices across campus to coordinate necessary program logistics (i.e. course registration, billing, study agreements, final grades).
