Worked as part of a dedicated team of secondary school teachers at a large State school in London. Responsible for teaching Spanish, Media, and Video production BTEC following the national curriculum to students aged 11 – 18.Key Responsibilities• Planned lessons to develop students' media literacy and enable them to be active participants and critical consumers of the Media as well as creative and skilled producers of media texts.• Taught students to use Adobe Creative Software packages. Photoshop, Premiere Pro video editing.

Worked as a member of the Modern Foreign Language department at a comprehensive school in east London. Taught the Spanish national curriculum to students aged 11 – 18. Key Responsibilities• Monitored and recorded the progress of students using Assessment for Learning strategies in accordance with school assessment policy and gave pupils regular feedback.• Produced and implemented schemes of work for all year groups in line with new curriculum guidelines in collaboration with the head of the MFL department and liaised with teacher assistants to support SEN pupils.• Introduced the use of Google classroom and Kerboodle online platform to advance learning.

I taught Spanish to GCSE and A-Level students for 2 years and I taught TV and Film Production to A-Level Media Students for 1 year.Key Responsibilities• Ensured students were engaged and enjoyed learning Spanish by planning and delivering stimulating and challenging lessons that met the needs of all learners.• All A-level students attained a pass or higher grade at the end of year exams.
