Assess and establish total implementation cost for newly generated projects.Manage change order process from identification to implementation and resolution of change. Keeps updated record and files of all change order and claims.Examine, verify, record and correctly allocate project related costs including third party contractor and vendor invoices.Escalate contract price according to contract including initiation of change orders, communication/confirming • Assist the project engineering group in negotiating the best competitive cost/price with contractors and suppliers regarding original contracts, extra work, change orders and purchase orders Ensures that contractual information used by the project team is accurate and up-to-dateAdvises the project manager on aspect of the projects execution which deviate from the requirement of the contract; Prepare and manage claims against or from the client and subcontractorsEnsures that contractual and legal matters affecting project execution are properly addressed, with the support of the relevant disciplines of the project, and requires mobilization of other supporting functions;Ensures regular reporting in accordance with applicable procedures and internal instructions, on major aspects of the project, in particular procedures and internal instructions, • Provide cost input to reports on all current project contracts and other financial commitments indicating all issues relating to the originally approved, current financial status and anticipated final cost finalCompare different design proposals and establish optimum costs. Assist in defining optimum project strategies, challenge contractor bids, and provide details of costs, quantities and work-hours for cost benchmarkingProduce project estimates (+/-50% to +/-10%, and detailed counter estimates) and priced Bills of Quantities.
