Completes IP related tasks required for assigned projects which include updating Core and Edge router/switches, Firewalls, DNS, Session Border Controllers and Softswitches. Provides VoIP SME expertise to Director of Network Engineering and Senior Management Team.

Performed SME duties on Nortel CS2000 Succession solution for Telephony over packet cable residential offering. Worked with vendors to implement new services and hardware, provisioning of new interconnections, data translations support and SS7 network support. Filled the gaps where needed to ensure market launch deadlines were met.

Lead Engineer/SME for all voice services to include internal voice infrastructure(350 employees, 7 sites, call center) and carrier-class long distance network(40 million monthly minutes). Provided tier II, III daily operations support, and DMS translations engineering to include routing updates, facility's test and turn-up, SMS800 management, network forecasting and expansion. Provided integration support for IP Telephony deployments using Cisco’s AVVID solution - Cisco Call Manager, IPCC Express, Unity, Personal Assistant and associated gateways - VG248, 2651router, 6608 switch.
