Colleagues describe them as "I have known Moneeque since 2007 when I began my technical design career at Target, and she was my technical designer counterpart at a major vendor/supplier. I also had the pleasure of working with again her more recently in 2017 on the development of the Victoria Beckam for Target limited time exclusive line. It was very easy for me to trust Moneeque as a young technical designer working on junior swimwear. I could count on her to utilize the sloper patterns developed by Target as well as follow all the construction standards and requirements. She provided valuable advice to improve the product and bring it to fit approval in fewer iterations. She was not afraid to pick up the phone and call me to sort out an issue or take my call when I needed something. She was a calming presence and never pushed me to approve anything if we both weren't comfortable with the outcome. Before I learned enough to be a significant resource to my vendor base, she was a resource to me. I was so excited that 10 years later, despite all the changes each of us had gone through in life and our careers, her company was selected to produce the Victoria Beckam for Target line. She traveled to Minneapolis twice to work hands on with me to fit the missy, women's plus, girls', toddler, and baby lines on our live models. The range of product types was huge, with woven bottoms, knit tops, woven tops, jackets, dresses, and baby bodysuits. The timeline was very tight, and we could only have two fit iterations for most items before production had to begin. However, because of the in-person collaboration, if any additional attention was needed, we entrusted Moneeque to take the product over the finish line. At that time the Victoria Beckam for Target line was the most successful designer partnership Target had to date, in large part because of Moneeque's work. I am grateful and forever indebted to Moneeque for her impact on my career. "
