• Gather and collect design requirements for new constructions, alterations or repairs.• Review design requirements and determine best design options for the project.• Submit architectural designs to management and clients for review and approval.• Support and guide BIM Architects in preparing technical drawings according to the approved design.• Prepare furniture, colors and finishes datasheets, selections and guidelines for the client.• Participate in team meetings to coordinate design options and ideas.• Use CAD tools effectively to draft design drawings including 2D drawings, 3D models, final renderings & 3d animation for both exterior elevations and interior spaces.• Modify and update designs based on review comments from the client.• Manage and execute design assignments in a timely manner.• Research and incorporate artistic elements into designs as needed.

Responsibilities• Responsible for managing the office, giving tasks to engineers & follow up with them.• Supervising a team of 3 engineers during the project.• Coordinate with Structure discipline.• Follow up with external MEP designers and coordinate with them.• Create a design from scratch, creating multiple options, going through zoning, design development, schematic drawings and 3D rendered models until delivering the final construction drawings to the client and authorities.• Prepare Sketchup conceptual and full rendered models for the projects.• Meet up with the client to discuss the design and make updates then follow up with the clients, update them with project current stage and make plans & provide the time schedule for the next step.• Prepare project submissions with required documents and attend meetings in Planning, SEWA (Sharjah Electricity & Water Authority), Civil defense and Sharjah municipality to discuss the projects with the engineers, solve issues, get final approvals & issue the building permit.• Site visits to handle design or construction problems• Visit the project site for inspection & making inspection photo report for the client and authorities.• Create as built architectural drawings according to site inspections & actual dimensions.• Contact contractors, request project quotations, deliver the quotations and discuss it with the client.• Approve contractors work and issue the payment for them.

• Working on various projects, including villas, apartments, restaurants & apartment buildings with responsibility for construction drawings & design ideas, detailed shop drawings, and as built site measurements for interior design ideas, and quantity limitation while supervising a team of three draughts men.
