As of November 2024, I have obtained a Bachelor's of Applied Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences with a focus on Animal Sciences at Ferrum College to support my passion for animal welfare and research. I have completed courses in genetics, anatomy, physiology, microbiology, and biochemistry, and I have gained hands-on experience in laboratory techniques and data analysis. I am eager to learn from the experts in the field and to apply my knowledge and skills to make a positive impact on the relationship between animals and humans. I am an inquisitive, respectful, and determined student and professional, who values teamwork, constructive-criticism, and efficiency. I have excellent time management and organizational skills, as I balance my academic, athletic, volunteer and work responsibilities. I have a strong affinity for animals, specifically canines, and can interpret and respond to their behavior appropriately. I have never allowed myself to be restricted by my age by working tirelessly to prove my readiness through my extraordinary passion and hunger to learn. I am looking for opportunities to grow and contribute to the animal sciences field.
