Led the preparation and facilitation of four dialogue forums with the state department of mining and other actors on coal mining and its impact on the environment, resulting in improved policy decisions and greater engagement with community Members in Kitui County. Increased participation of women and youth in decision-making processes related to the extractive industry, resulting in a 30% increase in the number of women and youth involved in mining-related activities. Provided implementation support 0f 5 BD and NRM projects with a total area of 100 hectares that resulted in increased biodiversity and improved livelihoods for 1600 households in line with the Laudato Si, resulting in improved management and conservation of natural resources in Kakamega ,Migori and Narok Counties. Carried over 3 research on the effects of climate change on pastoralist communities, with a focus on women and children, and collaborated with relevant donors on ways of addressing the issues. Engaged in consultations with key stakeholders, especially government and donors, on the importance of conducting civic education on the competition for limited natural resources and gender issues among pastoralist communities. Administered preparation of reports, planned enforcement of potential additional activities, coordinated key meetings, and formulated progress reports. Headed partner relationships, enforced project work plans through the supervision of project expenditures, and coached project staff.
