As a trainee engineer, I have worked on the instrumentation scope of several projects. My responsibility includes understanding the scope of the projects, communicating with project stakeholders and preparing the required technical deliverables. I have contributed in the initiation and execution phases of several projects conducted in Qatar and Egypt.My responsibilities: • Understanding the project scope, requirements, deliverables and workflow.• Analyzing the relevant technical documents such as P&IDs, project specifications and general drawings.• Researching and selecting field instruments as per the project requirements and standards such as Qatar Compliance Standard (QCS) and Kahrama Standard (KM).• Preparing project deliverables such as instrument index, material submittal, instrument quotes, instrument requisitions (IRs) and hookup drawings.• Communicating with project stakeholders for resolving technical queries.• Coordinating with my manager and team for meeting the project deadlines.During my tenure as a trainee, I have developed a solid understanding of instrumentation for waster water management and engineering project management, I have also improved my soft skills to better communicate with the project stake holders, understand and quantify project requirements, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for timely completion of projects.

My key responsibilities as Intern are:- Using P&IDs to design HMI screens for various industrial process - Developing small logic routines for PLCs- The HMI are designed in Siemens TIA portal and Factory TalkView software by Allen bradley- HMIS screens are designed for TPI 900 SIPLUS screen interfaced with Siemens S7-400 controllers

I was responsible for the design, development and fabrication of a low cost electronic lock capable of real time tracking. Mostly i worked on the software part, developing software for ATMega321 microcontroller.Apart from gaining technical knowledge, i learnt a lot regarding product development and managing workload.
