• Identification of AML & Terrorist Financing red flags, analysis of transactional data to make informed decisions and recommendations• PEP screening-document and report findings; ensuring requirements for high risk customers is complete• Risk awareness – conducting risks assessments on new and existing customers ,Know Your Customer (KYC) screening, in a timely manner to high quality standards as per bank procedures• Conducting Ongoing Due Diligence (ODD) reviews in line with Ireland legislation, providing advice to retain or exit customer relationship for financial crime reasons• Transaction monitoring to determine if a Suspicious Transaction Report (STR) is required• Coordinate and liaise with various departments and teams in the organisation, such as AML, Fraud, Sanctions, to identify, monitor and stop potential threats and losses to the bank• Undertaking of multiple tasks across a large variety of operational procedures: Input Euro and International Payments, Impersonal Accounts Reconciliation, Testing, daily batch checking• Reporting unusual/fraudulent transactions: CCL machine transactions, Cheque Kitting, Money Mule accounts, Payment redirection, ATM Skimming , vulnerable customers– Submission of Fraud Incident Reports( FIR), filing Suspicious Activity Reports ( SARs)• Problem solving and responsibility for completing tasks on time• Proactively applying knowledge and skills to identify opportunities and solutions in order to meet customer needs, maintaining the highest level of customer care
