As a Junior Research Fellow at the Gujarat Biotechnology Research Centre (GBRC), I am currently engaged in a UK-funded project that seeks to address the urgent issue of antimicrobial resistance (AMR). My work involves conducting whole-genome sequencing (WGS) analysis and microbiology AMR analysis to gain insights into the genetic mechanisms underlying antibiotic resistance in bacteria.My work has the potential to inform the development of more effective treatments for infectious diseases and to mitigate the growing threat of AMR. With a strong background in microbiology and molecular biology, I am committed to advancing our understanding of the complex interplay between microorganisms and their environment. I am passionate about exploring new avenues for scientific discovery and translating research findings into practical solutions for real-world problems.
