Mónica is an architect who understands brands. She is the Head Architect of < elastica > , the first studio in Costa Rica that focuses on brand spaces, or in a broader sense, "architectural communication". Previously, she was the other founding partner of Aguacate, Costa Rica's first advertising creative collective, which stood out for having an architect with a kick for brands and all things "design". During this 6 years venture, she pioneered the development of "architectural branding" in the country, creating brand spaces and architectural components for select clients such as Vinum Aura, L'ile de France and Product-C.
