I am a certified Nonviolent Communication and Social Emotional Learning Coach with over a decade of experience in education and personal development.I have a strong background in science and psychology, having received my Doctor of Medicine in General Medicine from Victor Babes University of Pharmacy and Medicine and my Master of Arts in Psychology from West University, Timisoara. In addition, I hold a Master of Arts in Teaching from Georgia State University and have completed various continuing professional development courses in areas such as trauma-informed mindfulness, equity and social justice, and substance use in adolescents.In my current role at Atlanta Public Schools, I have excelled in adolescent social-emotional education and development, utilizing my skills in crisis intervention, cultural sensitivity, and unconscious bias. I have also had the opportunity to teach science and incorporate social-emotional learning in the high school classroom.Previously, in my private practice at Red Oak Coaching, I assisted clients in clarifying their vision for a better life, fostering self-love and self-awareness, and facilitating coaching sessions aimed at expanding resilience.
