Since the mid 60's, SAC Health System has provided patient centered medical and dental care regardless of ability to pay. Today, SACHS offers the largest number of specialty services among FQHCs in the nation. Our largest location in San Bernardino, a 150,000 sq.ft. health center, offers 29 specialties, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, OB/Womens Health, 2 radiology suites, phlebotomy lab, pharmacy, community resource center non-denominational chapel and a vegetarian cafe.Role: As the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, provide disciplined, strategic direction to address the internal day-to-day operational leadership and the external growth and partnerships involved in running high-quality, efficient and data driven programs. Provide management oversight to ensure a patient-centered experience that is cost effective and results in strong financial performance. -Ensure the most prolific and appropriate use of labor, space, equipment and other resources resulting in excellent clinical care and exceptional patient experience. -Translate vision and strategy into operational tactics, building organizational support and infrastructure to achieve this end.-Leverage technology and innovation to streamline and automate processes for operational excellence. -Set strategies, goals, programs, best practices and compliance improvement for improving operational execution.-Provide leadership in creating a value-driven culture which is predicated on growing trust amongst and between stakeholders. -Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff and leadership to reinforce positive outcomes and to implement system changes which ensure excellent service in all patient encounters.-Facilitate a culture which is decisive, action-oriented, accountable, flexible and poised to achieve the vision of SACHS.
