Our interest is in growing and supporting a community of women of color who share a passion for cycling. We champion efforts to introduce the joy of cycling to all women, but especially, brown women and girls. We are establishing a comfortable place where lady cyclist can ride, offer support, advise, organize meet-ups, and promote skill-sharing. We rejoice when women choose cycling as a tool for alternative transportation, self-care, and ultimately empowerment. We look to share positive images of ladies and their bikes to affirm the truth that black girls do indeed bike! We encourage bike advocacy, education, volunteerism, and safety in all communities and corners of the world.*We've partnered with Trek Bikes and REI CoOp• Directed the creation of 100+ BGDB Chapters US & UK• Featured on GMA3, Nike Trained Podcast, The Carlos Watson Show, Bicycling Magazine, Inspiring Lives Magazine and countless cycling blogs/podcasts• Fostered sponsorship relationships with major bike brands and retailers like REI and TREK Bicycles. • Manage more than 190 lady leaders within the organization • Grew business/brand from start in 2013 to more than 30k social media followers • Organize annual national cycling events in various cities to encourage relationship building and organizational growth. • Cycling apparel designer• Manage the customer service process from start to finish for our branded cycling gear that ships internationally • Webmaster and curator of all official social media accounts• Member Board of Directors of BIKE PGH since January 2017
