I am an accomplished Executive Director with a legal background in immigration and human rights and an expertise in a thoughtful, strategic, innovative, client-centered nonprofit management of a successful organization. I have a demonstrated history of working in the law practice industry and am skilled in servant leadership, nonprofit organizations, fundraising, management, board management, public speaking, and immigration advocacy. As a public speaker nationally and locally in Atlanta, I am invited to speak on various topics which include immigration, human trafficking, domestic violence, cultural sensitivity and leadership. I have most recently spoken about human trafficking at both Georgia Tech's Tedx and Georgia State University's Tedx events. Driven by my family's immigrant journey, I understand deeply challenges that immigrants and minorities face in advocating for themselves in many aspects of life whether it be access to basic needs, rights, education and the law. The challenges and the successes our clients face are backbone of my legal work and also what I am honored speak about.Some of my career highlights include growing a volunteer run project, which included pro bono legal representation of immigrants, into a well-respected million-dollar organization. Also, I am proud of educating and influencing private law firms and corporate legal departments to bring support and collaboration towards immigrant rights in social responsibility and philanthropy efforts in Atlanta, GA. I have also contributed to policy decisions that has created additional supportive resources for immigrants in Georgia. Finally, I am most humbled and proud of influencing understanding and compassion for immigrants in Georgia to result in positive change by strategically combining the public and private sectors together to advocate for immigration rights.
