Monica Mora is a Senior Product Quality Advisor at Marathon Petroleum Corporation. She possess expertise in petroleum, refinery, petrochemical, refining, gas and 32 more skills. Colleagues describe her as "The Bloomfield Refinery was purchased by Western Refining in 2007. I made arrangements to go visit Monica in El Paso that summer. It was clear that our lab had considerable work to do to get on the same page as her lab in El Paso. The first thing Monica did was purchase us a top end Panalytical XRF sulfur analyzer so we could reliably and accurately report our sulfur numbers. Her lead chemist over the next several months made a couple trips to Bloomfield. They were pleased to find that our Techs were performing tests according to method, but we needed to add additional tests. Together, we set reasonable goals and were able to implement the new tests in a timely manner. Over the next 3 years, Monica championed our getting new and better equipment. She also helped us set the bar higher for new hires. It was a pleasure working for Monica - her standards are high, but she made every effort to help us meet them."
