1989 - present; working with NVHA in several different positions within the medical records department. Presently alongside the MOA's and the physicians ~ my priority being the medical claims/submissions/remittances/reconciliations to MSP via Teleplan. Also responsible for the ROI requests, Third Party Billings (including RCMP, WCB, ICBC, Medico-Legal, Employment/Insurance/Disability forms). Monthly reporting requirements include physician activity reports to the Alternative Payment Plan consisting of physician/patient encounters, indirect patient encounters, and non-patient activities. Other duties include daily scanning of medical documents to patient electronic records, and maintenance of, for quality control.
