Monica Pa Moye is an experienced litigator who currently manages general commercial litigation, content protection and copyright litigations for The Walt Disney Company. For the past ten years, she has overseen complex commercial and IP litigations, including seminal copyright cases including Aereo, Filmon and VidAngel. She was previously responsible for managing international content protection cases, oftentimes in coordination with the industry trade organization, the MPAA. These cases include the iiNet case in the Australian Supreme Court, Megaupload in the New Zealand Supreme Court, Equustek in the Canadian Supreme Court, numerous site blocking cases in Europe and Asia, among several others. She is also responsible for copyright policy analysis and strategizing with business teams to address changes in copyright law. Prior to Disney, Monica worked as a litigation associate for Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, and other law firms. She clerked for the Honorable Rosemary S. Pooler in the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. She received her J.D. from New York University School of Law, graduating with high honors, including Order of the Coif and the recipient of the annual Walter J. Derenberg Prize for Copyright Law.
