I am a results driven, out-of-the-box thinker who thrives on challenges. As a Technology Director in the hi-tech industry I have 30+ years of experience in delivering software projects with $40+M budget and managing deliverables of 300+ team size in geographically dispersed regions. I have overseen software development and QA teams in Canada, USA, Vietnam, India, Pakistan, Turkey, Russia, Serbia, UK, Poland. I have negotiated and written win-win contracts with detailed SLAs with outsourced development partners using shared revenue, fixed delivery/fixed cost and T&M engagement models. I have driven massive quality improvement initiatives which have resulted in shortening of delivery cycles and reduced defects found in the field. I am technically astute - quick to learn new technologies, assessing market requirements, identifying architectural and solution gaps. I have time and time again taken over highly complex projects that were in jeopardy and delivered them to the field with very high quality. All the above aside what has truly been the most enjoyable aspect of my job is working with my team. It is the people that I work with who invigorate me, challenge me and help me grow and I hope I have had the same impact on them. Working with all the wonderful people from so many different cultures across the globe has indeed enriched me as a person.
