I worked with a professor to conduct interdisciplinary research combining film, literature, and global health, focusing mainly on HIV/AIDS, and how outbreaks are portrayed in cinema. I met regularly with my advisor to share my findings, which included extensive notes taken while watching films or reading books, or health information I had researched. Presented "From Philadelphia to Dallas in Twenty Years: Exploring AIDS Narratives in Major Motion Pictures" at the Allegheny College ACRoSS Symposium.
