I have something I like to call “older sister syndrome” paired up with being a first generation student who comes from an immigrant family. There is always a yearning desire to better myself to set the best example I can but for some reason I was unable to figure out what my passion was as I grew up. The years passed by and I thought I wanted to do everything from criminology to psychology to nursing. One day, everything just clicked for me when I realized my one true passion is to make the world a better place in every way I can. To me, life is all about the people you meet and experiences. I take pride in being empathetic and unapologetically loving to everyone I come across. I don’t believe there is one specific thing for an individual to do all throughout the course of their lives.
