Duties consisted of triaging patients in a busy practice with three doctors and three nurses.Collecting manual vital signs, collecting payments, scheduling appointments such as mammograms, CT scans, referral appointments to other physicians. Helping assist in small office procedures such as draining abscess, removing cysts , collecting samples for cultures, assisting the physicians in wound care follow up after procedures have been done. Answering phones, performing lab draws through venipuncture, butterfly needles, EKG’s and vaccines, as well as completing referrals. Also did in house testing , Flu, strep, and mono testing. PT/INR, Hemoglobin A1C testing, Glucose testing, Well woman exams, Pap smears, breast exams, Catheter training, Removal of stitches, IV therapy,
