As a Health Services Administrator providing the accountability and deliverables of a multi dynamic medical system within correctional healthcare is essential in my current position. The collaborative care efforts and primary roles to advance correctional healthcare are approaches I strive to build with my current position. Having past medical experience and education in advanced patient care and professional development, I believe in improving patient outcomes, enhancing care coordination, and optimizing resources within utilization’s in healthcare.The operational deliverables that I strive to facilitate are met through my passion and commitment in patient care. The GEO Group Medical Corporation provides positive outcomes in patient care delivery on a daily 24/7 basis. The Healthcare Services department includes but are not limited to - chronic care, specialty care, Psychiatric/Mental Health, Dental, hospital, medical observation, Infection Control, Quality Assurance, Laboratory and Radiology. The client services, vendors, budgetary reports, department operations and strategic planning make this operational setting in healthcare, I’d say, quite amazing! As an HSA being able to lead, direct a multidisciplinary medical teams, introduce processes, promote and develop quality healthcare make this position the most rewarding! Our medical team strives in facilitating compassionate, effective and timely patient centered care across the board to ensure standard practice is the best practice! I have been given the opportunity to assist in revising, implementing and creating new policies, procedures within the standards for Federal Healthcare. Ensuring all populations in healthcare receive the upmost patient deliverables is our primary goal.The GEO Group has given me the opportunity to assist in transitioning a correctional medical corporation, EMR, humanitarian missions, community programs and grow as a professional beyond measures! I can’t thank them ENOUGH.I believe having a positive MINDSET will always deliver the best clinical and professional development that any corporation will need to set culture change!My experience in healthcare has navigated me through corporate contracts, physician-healthcare relationships, business development planning, financial targets and team building. My goals are to continue working on developing team growth, education, training, implementation and processes for the medical correctional healthcare system.
