I am a Program Director with expertise in effectively managing and developing teams, implementing strategic initiatives, and driving operational excellence in health care organizations.I launched my career in program operations at Children's National Medical Center Health System in Washington, DC, where I administered community health education programs and supported child health advocacy projects. Collaborating with leading professionals, I gained unique insights about developing and executing impactful programs that both educated and motivated families to make not only better, but informed decisions regarding health. After two years of working with the community health education team, I moved to the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) to focus on measuring healthcare quality in the primary care space.As a program manager at NCQA, I managed the daily operations of physician recognition programs, which included reviewing and analyzing survey materials supplied by applicants and evaluating data for performance against program metrics and standards for recognition programs. After working my way up from manager to assistant director leading one of three regional teams, I was then promoted to my most recent role, Director, Recognition Operations.As Director, I led day-to-day operations and strategic oversight of NCQA’s Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and related programs business operations unit. I directed the full team of twenty-five who served as the key point of contact for internal and external customers, managing inbound calls/inquiries, and responsible for enrollment and evaluation of over 10,000 primary care practice sites per year. Under my leadership, the unit was able to increase customer satisfaction scores by 20% and retention by 15% over 24 months.In addition, I worked very closely with the Product division, serving as business advisor on multiple cross-functional teams for development and operationalization of new care delivery programs, as well as enhancements to PCMH and Health Plan Accreditation (HPA) programs to better support value-based care.
