There is nothing more important than relationships, and nothing of more significance than the impact we have on the people around us. My mission is to help others thrive in the relationships and communities they’ve been placed in. I do this in both my personal and professional spheres by working to keep families together and strong, providing practical support during a time of need, and caring for vulnerable populations. Accomplishments:- Trained in PC-Care, a therapeutic intervention for caregivers.- My work has helped hundreds of families stay together by providing support during a time of need and kept over 50 kids stay out of the foster care system.- Advocating for families to receive access to quality housing, childcare, etc. - Reframing and educating volunteers on poverty.- Distributed over $550,000 of assistance to prevent families from losing their housing and prevented the eviction of 2 tenants already in evictions court- Diverted 17 people at immediate risk of homelessness from sleeping outside or going to a shelter by providing resources for them to be doubled up or maintain their housing
