I’ve done a little bit of this and a little bit of that from substitute teaching to a family run vending business. I majored in International Business because of my interest in Business and Cultural Diversity. I always expected to end up in another country. I’ve been very blessed to experience a variety of jobs that have each taught me something unique. From running my family’s vending business I learned Customer Service. From Substitute Teaching I learned that it is best if I volunteer some time with teens and not attempt to teach them full time. From working with Functional Skills children I learned that we are all different from one another and it’s best to try to relate to each person on an individual basis – people are not all the same! And from my position at Harman I’ve had the opportunity to learn many new skills and experience a position that feels like it was made for me. I love the interactions I am able to have with Reps, Dealers, Customers and Co-Workers. It has challenged me and caused me to grow. It’s a great feeling to enjoy one’s job.
