I love what I do. What I do is empower youth development professionals to change young lives by ensuring that they have the resources needed to provide high-quality programs and opportunities for self-discovery. As an experienced and passionate advancement professional, my attention to detail, knack for improving processes, creativity, and ability to identify and seize opportunities have contributed to the significant and sustained growth of special events, annual campaigns, grant support, corporate and community partnerships, and brand equity. In 2020 I was incredibly humbled to be named as the Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) Northeast Region Outstanding Resource Development Professional of the Year! Each year, the Regional Outstanding Resource Development Professional Award honors one outstanding fundraising professional from each of the five regions across the country whose dedication, leadership, ingenuity, and high ethical standards build and strengthen a Culture of Philanthropy in their Clubs and communities. BGCA’s Northeast Region stretches from Maine to Maryland and includes more than 1,000 independent Boys & Girls Club organizations. My areas of interest and experience include planning and implementing high level strategic projects; partnership development; event planning and production; community outreach and stakeholder engagement; grant writing and foundation relations; relational fundraising; marketing and communications; and nonprofit consulting.
